PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE CAREFULLY. THESE TERMS INCLUDE A MANDATORY ARBITRATION PROVISION AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER PROVISION WHICH AFFECT YOUR RIGHTS ABOUT HOW TO RESOLVE ANY DISPUTE WITH CONTEST MY TICKET, LLC.
Contest My Ticket aims to help exonerate citizens from their unfair parking tickets. We understand that people do not have the time or resources to write a proper letter to the authorities explaining why their ticket should be revoked. We will take charge and handle the contesting process for you. Our small group has contested tickets in the Midwest for the last 4 years. We are proud to report that we successfully contested 91% of those tickets.
Help us help you! We need as many details as you can provide; even if you are guilty of parking illegally, we will still help out. You need to be forthcoming with the details and again, if you did do something wrong, tell us as we will not share your information with anyone else outside of Contest My Ticket LLC and its affiliates. We are not here to penalize you for making a mistake; we are here to get you out of trouble to the best of our abilities.
Tickets with which We Have Prior Experience
-Parking in the incorrectly designated area
-Parking over time limit
-Parking with expired stickers
-Note to users: we will not help you get out of a ticket incurred from parking in a handicapped spot if:
-you are not considered in need of handicap assistance
-you are not parking there due to some emergency/health issues
+We do not serve assholes who needlessly park in a handicap spot
It is the user’s responsibility to submit all pertinent information regarding the ticket they contest. Once emailed back a letter written by one of our writers, it is the user’s responsibility to mail in or e-submit the letter to the proper address as soon as possible. The proper address will be somewhere on the ticket where the city expects you to mail the appeal. Remember, you are more likely to win a contesting the earlier you submit your request. You are unlikely to win an appeal if you mail it late, even if you have all the right facts and a well-defined argument. Once mailed or e-submitted, fill out the form on the Contest My Ticket email with the date and time you submitted your contesting and any comments you would like to add, so that we know if and when exactly you submitted our letter. Our business is a two-way street: this is how we best serve you and how you can increase the chance of a quick and successful ticket contesting.
Billing and Payment
Cash and Other Payments Determined by Users. All payments must be routed through the CONTEST MY TICKET Service and its website or application. Payment will be made with your filing of the “Contest a Ticket” form. When you submit this request, our payment provider, Stripe, will withdraw the amount and hold it for the duration of the contesting process. The amount withdrawn will be 40% (forty percent) of your ticket’s cost. For example, if your parking ticket fine was $100, you would pay us $40 if we successfully appealed your ticket. Payment will be forwarded to us if our service helps you get out of your ticket. If we fail to win for you, we will not charge you for our service and the initial payment- minus any potential transaction fees on the payment provider’s side and one U.S. dollar- will be returned promptly to you.
If you hold back any viable information that could have helped your case or if you lie about anything substantial on your form, we elect the right to keep your payment in full if we lose your appeal. It is imperative that you give us all the information you can regarding your parking ticket. Whether you were wrong or right, we are here to help you. So please do not lie to us to hide anything unscrupulous. Any information you provide us will be kept between our service and you.
CONTEST MY TICKET Payment Solution. Users of the Service will be required to provide their credit card or bank account details to CONTEST MY TICKET and the Payment Service Provider retained by CONTEST MY TICKET (the “PSP”). A customer will pay with debit or credit cards and other electronic payment methods (each an “Electronic Payment Method”) through the CONTEST MY TICKET Service. CONTEST MY TICKET has integrated with Stripe, a payment processing service, to allow sellers to accept certain Electronic Payment Methods from buyers using Stripe’s payment processing services (“CONTEST MY TICKET Payment Solution”).
Users. By using the CONTEST MY TICKET Payment Solution to accept Electronic Payment Methods, you are entering into an agreement with STRIPE subject to the terms which includes STRIPE Terms of Service (collectively, the “STRIPE Services Agreement”). Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the STRIPE Services Agreement, you will not have the right to have STRIPE, and will not request that STRIPE transfer any buyer data. STRIPE collects via the CONTEST MY TICKET Payment Solution to an alternative payment processor. Except for the foregoing restriction that supersedes any rights you may have in the STRIPE Services Agreement, the STRIPE Services Agreement is separate from these Terms. CONTEST MY TICKET is not a party to the STRIPE Services Agreement and will not be liable or responsible for the payment services provided by STRIPE.
Transactions are Final. All purchases are final and there are no refunds. Contact STRIPE for payment disputes.

If we do not get your ticket contested successfully, we will not charge you for our time. We are here to alleviate your stress associated with an unnecessary ticket while you live your life and manage your busy schedule. So tell us your story, and we will take it from there.
CONTEST MY TICKET may from time to time provide certain promotional opportunities, sweepstakes and contests to Users. All such promotions will be run at the sole discretion of CONTEST MY TICKET, and can be activated, modified or removed at any time by CONTEST MY TICKET without advance notification and the liability of any of CONTEST MY TICKET’s partners pursuant to such promotional opportunities, sweepstakes and contests shall be limited pursuant based on these Terms of Service. Promotions serve to increase the popularity of the CONTEST MY TICKET Service and as a fun experience for current users. CONTEST MY TICKET thanks all of its users and would like to provide some fun experience from time to time in the form of flash sales, promotions, and contests.
Furthermore, CONTEST MY TICKET LLC believes that people who exemplify good will and justice must be commended. This includes police officers, firefighters, lawyers, and anyone who stands for the good of others. As such we welcome our customers to nominate someone they know to be our “Person of the Month.”
Any comments or materials sent to us, including, but not limited to, ideas, questions, comments, suggestions, feedback or the like regarding the CONTEST MY TICKET Service or any other products or services of CONTEST MY TICKET (collectively, "Feedback"), is non-confidential and will become our sole property. However, if your feedback proves to be fruitful in a massive way, you will have our thanks in some form of small gift. CONTEST MY TICKET cares to grow as a company so we appreciate any and all constructive feedback from anyone who cares enough to spend time to give us feedback. That being said, we will have no obligation to you of any kind, monetary or non-monetary, with respect to such feedback and will be free to reproduce, use, disclose, exhibit, display, transform, create derivative works from and distribute the feedback to others without limitation or obligation. You waive any rights you may have to the Feedback (including any copyrights or moral rights). If you feel the urge to share your thoughts on your favorite superhero or supervillain in the DC or Naruto universe then by all means go for it and prepare to potentially have a riveting conversation with a member of CONTEST MY TICKET. Furthermore, you agree not to submit any feedback that is defamatory, illegal, offensive, or otherwise violates any right of any third party, or breaches any agreement between you and any third party.
You acknowledge that Confidential Information (as hereinafter defined) is a valuable, special and unique asset of CONTEST MY TICKET and agree that you will not disclose, transfer, use (or seek to induce others to disclose, transfer or use) any Confidential Information for any purpose. Likewise, CONTEST MY TICKET will not disclose, transfer, or use any of customers’ Confidential Information for any purpose outside of CONTEST MY TICKET’s purposes.
CONTEST MY TICKET, www.contestmyticket.com, and other CONTEST MY TICKET graphics, logos, page headers, buttons, icons, scripts, and service names are trademarks, registered trademarks, or trade dress of CONTEST MY TICKET or its affiliates in the U.S. and/or other countries, and may not be copied, imitated, or used, in whole or in part, without CONTEST MY TICKET’s prior written consent. You will not use any trademark, product or service name of CONTEST MY TICKET without our prior written permission, including without limitation any metatags or other “hidden text” utilizing any trademark, product of service name of CONTEST MY TICKET. All other registered trademarks and service marks are used for reference purposes only, and remain the property of their respective owners. Reference to any products, services, processes or other information, by name, trademark, manufacturer, supplier or otherwise does not constitute or imply an endorsement, sponsorship or recommendation by CONTEST MY TICKET. If someone or someone’s company wants CONTEST MY TICKET’s endorsement, unless someone is sent personally to negotiate with CONTEST MY TICKET, CONTEST MY TICKET will not endorse any kind of third party in any way.
You agree to hold harmless, defend and indemnify CONTEST MY TICKET and the CONTEST MY TICKET Providers and affiliates from all liabilities, losses, damages, deficiencies, claims, causes of action, demands and expenses, (including, but not limited to, reasonable attorneys' fees), that are due to, arise from or otherwise relate to your conduct or your use or misuse of the CONTEST MY TICKET Service or Materials, including, without limitation, any actual or threatened suit, demand or claim made against CONTEST MY TICKET. The city of Chicago or any other city cannot sue this group for helping citizens get out of their tickets as it is everyone’s right to contest a ticket they think was erroneously given to them. We are a group of people seeking to help out other people who may lack the skills and ability to exonerate themselves from a parking ticket. Once we write a letter to contest your ticket, we will email it to you and it is your responsibility to mail it in ASAP. If you lose your case because you mailed in the contesting letter late, we will collect full payment for our service.
Informal Dispute Resolution. You and CONTEST MY TICKET agree that each party will notify the other party in writing of any arbitral or small claims Dispute within thirty (30) days of the date it arises, so that the parties can attempt in good faith to resolve the Dispute informally. Notice to CONTEST MY TICKET shall be sent by certified mail or courier to:

Your notice must include:
(1) Your name, postal address, telephone number, the email address you use or used for your CONTEST MY TICKET Account, and, if different, an email address at which you can be contacted
(2) A description in reasonable detail of the nature or basis of the Dispute
(3) The specific relief that you are seeking
Pursuant to Section 4, our notice to you will be sent to the email address you used to register for your CONTEST MY TICKET Account, and will include
(a) Our name, postal address, telephone number and an email address at which we can be contacted with respect to the Dispute
(b) A description in reasonable detail of the nature or basis of the Dispute, and
(c) The specific relief that we are seeking
If you and CONTEST MY TICKET cannot agree how to resolve the Dispute within thirty (30) days after the date notice is received by the applicable party, then either you or CONTEST MY TICKET may, as appropriate and in accordance with this Section 20, commence an arbitration proceeding, or to the extent specifically provided for in section 20(A), file a claim in court.
We reserve the right to make changes or modifications to these Terms whenever CONTEST MY TICKET feels necessary and only in our sole discretion. If we make changes to these Terms, we will provide you with notice of such changes, via email or by posting the amended Terms via the CONTEST MY TICKET Service on the home page and the Terms of Services page. All amended Terms will become effective immediately on the date they are posted to the CONTEST MY TICKET Service unless we state otherwise via our notice of such amended Terms. Any amended Terms will apply prospectively to use of the CONTEST MY TICKET Service after such changes become effective. Your continued use of the CONTEST MY TICKET Service following the effective date of such changes will constitute your acceptance of such changes. If you do not agree to any amended Terms, you must discontinue using the CONTEST MY TICKET Service.
